Honestly, I was a bit nervous about diving into writing a book. I would imagine most new authors would be. They probably wonder, is anyone going to really want to read it and listen to what I have to say? Will my words be powerful enough to change minds and touch hearts? I'm not gonna lie, even with all of my words sprinkled with stardust and undeniable faith, I was uncomfortable with the idea of people actually telling me what they think about my book...terrifying! Unsolicited opinions...no thanks!
I'm sharing this with you because I'm a living, breathing example of what it is to go after a dream, take action even when you feel uncomfortable, and put your passion behind it even when you can't see what lies ahead. Although there was some underlying nervousness, there was such beauty in letting go and finally doing something that I've always wanted to do.
I feel like this book release isn't me sort of dipping my toes in the water, it's me diving in. I'm not worried about my hair, how cold the water might be, how I look in my bikini, or if there's a life guard nearby to save my ass if I start to drown. It's me taking a chance on me, having a load of stick-with-it-ness, and trusting that the Universe has my back. And I love that! I'm comfortable with being a little uncomfortable.

You're probably wondering why would I would write a book about quitting sugar. What does that have to do with LOA, manifestation, spirituality, and doing what I love? EVERYTHING.
Quitting Sugar is the perfect starting point for upleveling your life because it improves your health and how you feel. How you feel is the foundation of everything else. Taking that action (that gesture of self-love) catapults you forward. There's sort of a chain of positive events that start happening that touch all areas of your life. When you quit sugar and you start seeing and feeling positive changes, you’re triggered to start doing other things that are good for you: you start drinking more water, you start taking vitamins, you start moving your body and becoming more active, and you start setting more goals.
All of that nourishment and movement makes you feel amazing. The more good you feel, the more positive and optimistic you become. When you feel good and you have energy, you start to be more focused, mindful and productive in other areas of your life too.
My "addicted to sugar" self felt tired, unfocused, groggy, stagnant, foggy, worn out, and not up to speed. I didn't feel good mentally or physically. My "today" self, 7 years after quitting sugar, feels healthy, energetic, unstoppable, excited, and TOTALLY checked in and creating the life I want to live. That change was the foundation for everything. It changed my life.
