Do you believe you can be wealthy doing what you love?
I mean really, deep down in your core.
Every person who is where you want to be (a financially stable, goal achieving, money making, more than enough having boss) was once where you are now—trying to bring their big goals to fruition.
They believed it was possible, so they did it.
While being wealthy isn't necessary to be successful, believing you can be is. When you believe you can be, you're likely not to box yourself in. You'll boldly go after your dreams, no matter how big they are because you'll understand that there are no limits to what you can achieve.
That's why I wrote this series. To help you (and me) build an abundance mindset so that we have the courage to go after our big goals.
We've come a long way, haven't we?
In the last post we checked out the second requirement to build a solid foundation on which to realize our missions: develop a positive attitude around money and wealth. We learned how to shift negative feelings or beliefs around money.
Let's continue with the third requirement.
Welcome to post #7 of the Scarcity to Abundance Mindset Series!
Whether you like it or not, your subconscious mind is the boss of you. Even when you make a conscious decision to go after something you want, it's your subconscious that determines whether you'll take consistent action to get it!
Once you understand how your subconscious works, you can be in touch with yourself on a deep level. You'll have the keys to living an abundant, fulfilling life, and all you'll need to do is unlock that door.
What is the Subconscious Mind?
Your mind is similar to an iceberg. The conscious mind is like the part of the iceberg that you can see above the surface. But the bulk of the mind - the subconscious - is below the surface where you can't see.
There are certain thoughts and processes that go on inside your mind that you may not be aware of on a conscious level, such as beliefs, instincts, and memories. Everything you've ever seen or heard is sitting somewhere in your subconscious, affecting your current thoughts, decisions, and actions.
Communicating with the subconscious mind is a popular topic in the realms of self-help and psychoanalysis. This is because getting to the core of your beliefs by tapping into the subconscious is the fastest way to implement desired changes in your life.
The Power of Beliefs
Your subconscious mind contains a vast amount of information. It's more than your conscious mind could ever handle. Sometimes you might just have a "feeling" about something and then find out that the "feeling" was right on target. In many cases, it's your subconscious mind that sends you such signals.
Surely you've heard, "If you believe it, you can do it."
I know, I know... sounds cliche.
But this truism is a fact because of the great power of your subconscious. A belief can light a fire under you and enable you to do things that you never consciously thought were possible.
Have you ever thought about how much believing in yourself makes a difference in your quality of life? A strong belief in yourself can bring you all these benefits and more:
· You recognize your ability to accomplish goals.
· You’re optimistic about the future as you set goals and achieve them.
· Deep down inside, you know you can do anything.
· You treat yourself kindly.
· You feel uplifted and more satisfied with life.
· You’re motivated to get things done.
· You have faith, no matter what.
· You see and enjoy the abundance around you.
· Others feel attracted to you.
Wouldn’t you love to enjoy these qualities of confidence and well-being on a daily basis? The good news is you can!
Requirement #3: Believe
The third requirement is to believe you can be abundant and wealthy.
I’m telling you this because I really believe the way we think matters. I may not have statistics or pretty graphs to back it up. But I can say: people who don’t believe abundance is possible, don’t typically experience abundant things.
Imagine how good your odds are if you really believe it’s possible!
When you do, you can move on with your self-help ventures and personal development plans. Surely you have talents you'd like to further develop, positive qualities you'd like to strengthen, and challenges you'd like to overcome.
Know that with earnest effort, your odds of becoming wealthy are better than 50%. Having the seed of possibility planted in your brain makes wealth possible.
So let's start planting.
You’ve probably heard that meditation and visualization are critical tools that contribute to growth and self-development.
Visualization effectively unlocks new ideas and solutions from a trapped subconscious mind. It helps you vividly imagine positive experiences that represent whatever changes you wish to express in your life.

Believing in yourself is one of the most powerful choices you can make. Before we close this week's post, here's an affirmation to help you further plant seeds of self-belief.
Action #7: Affirmation
"Believing is half the battle."
My mind is powerful and guides the outcome of each experience. I use it to build my courage and confidence. Believing in positive outcomes is half the battle.
I tell myself positive things each morning. Whatever I verbalize becomes what my mind and heart believe. Reinforcement of goodness encourages me to only expect good things from each experience that I have.
When I look at my distant goals, I consider them already achieved. Although the complete path has yet to unfold, I am reassured that it is already there.
Making my way through college while working is a challenge. Most days I feel tired, but I carry on. I focus on the tasks directly in front of me and avoid worrying about the whole program. One step at a time eventually leads me to the finish line.
Even when my grades are unfavorable, I maintain self-belief. I know that I have the intellect and drive to successfully make it through each course.
I believe in my business ideas. It takes a while to get things off the ground, but I hold firm to my belief. Whatever I set my mind to is already mine. What matters is the commitment that I show towards making it a reality.
Believing gives me the motivation to go after dreams even when they feel scary. It pushes me to step over obstacles and find the way forward.
Today, believing in myself is the answer to being successful in life. I know that I am capable and talented. My blessings continue to unfold when I choose to maintain a positive mindset.
How easy is it to have faith in things that I am unable to see?
What are some of my biggest victories?
Who are my sources of encouragement when I am feeling doubtful?
Until next time,
